Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing COVID-19 Testing Update Post date August 17, 2021 Dear residents and families, We are pleased to report the results from our initial round of COVID-19 testing in skilled nursing and assisted living are all negative. We will continue to test residents and teammates per Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) guidelines. Remember, visitation is still limited to essential caregivers and end-of-life visits. This is due to the COVID-positive status of teammates reported last week. The current regulation, instated by Texas HHS, is that once all teammates and residents test negative for two weeks visitation will be reinstated. Although visitation is restricted to essential caregivers, closed window or televisits are available at this time. We will continue to monitor the latest COVID-19 trends and evaluate preventative measures accordingly.
