Positive Teammate

Dear residents, families and teammates,

Presbyterian Village North (PVN) prides itself on transparent communication. This paired with continued testing, adhering to CDC guidelines and our teammate vaccination mandate helps us protect ourselves and those we serve against COVID-19. This morning, a dining teammate in skilled nursing tested positive for Coronavirus. The teammate was asymptomatic, and the virus was detected because of these proactive measures. All skilled nursing residents and teammates will be tested as a precaution and results from these tests will be communicated once all are received.

Due to the current situation, Texas Health and Human Services regulations require restrictions regarding visitation. Visitation in the skilled nursing area of the community will temporarily change allowing only essential caregiver and end-of-life visits until all residents and teammates receive a negative test. Closed window or televisits are available for those not designated as essential caregivers. Please view the graphic below for more information regarding skilled nursing visitation criteria.

As the Dallas County COVID-19 positivity rate continues to rise, please remember to practice CDC recommended protocols such as wearing a mask, social distancing and washing your hands as frequently as possible. If you feel ill, contact your healthcare provider immediately. Contact Joni Watson at JWatson@forefrontliving.org with questions.

Sincerely,

Bryan Cooper, Executive Director
