Updated CDC Guidelines – Independent Living Post date March 1, 2022 Dear independent living residents and teammates, The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has updated its mask policy related to COVID-19 in non-healthcare environments. We see this update as a positive sign that vaccination rates are increasing, and active coronavirus rates are declining. In accordance with CDC guidance, we have amended our mask policy in independent living. Going forward mask-wearing in public spaces is optional for independent living residents and their visitors – please reference the CDC’s risk assessment description below to aid you in making a fully informed choice. Teammates and visitors will continue to be screened for COVID-19 prior to entry into the community. Teammates are still required to always wear surgical-grade face coverings, regardless of vaccination status. The Presbyterian Village North team will continue to monitor COVID-19 trends and adjust policies, as necessary. We appreciate your diligence and commitment to protecting the health and safety of other residents and teammates. Please contact pvninfo@forefrontliving.org with questions. Sincerely, Kim Cook | Corporate Director of Health Services ← Older Posts Newer Posts →
