Positive Teammate Post date October 16, 2020 Dear Residents, Families and Teammates, We received confirmation today that a teammate who works in the Transitional Rehab Center (TRC) and Special Care, tested positive using a PCR test for COVID-19. The teammate was tested October 13 and their last day at work was October 15. The teammate was not symptomatic; however, we are currently in the process of completing contract tracing and testing as necessary. As you are aware, PVN has been committed to testing as a defense against the spread of the virus. This new case was identified in our most recent round of testing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the teammate and their family at this time. We urge everyone to continue to be diligent in following all recommended CDC safety protocols. This includes wearing masks, washing hands and remaining socially distant. Through open dialogue, full participation and continued vigilance, we can limit our exposure to COVID-19.
