Positive Teammate

Dear residents, families and teammates,

Yesterday, a teammate working in assisted living tested positive for COVID-19. The teammate began having symptoms and was immediately tested, per our policy. They had no contact with residents and their last day worked was March 30. Contact tracing is underway to identify teammates that had contact with this individual.
We are grateful for the lull in cases at Presbyterian Village North. Prior to this teammate’s diagnosis, our last positive case was reported on Feb. 10. This lull is due to the continued efforts of our residents and teammates to be cautious in their daily lives.
We continue to monitor COVID-19 trends both locally and nationally. While we hope to see a decline in COVID-19 cases as we enter the summer months, experts are raising awareness about the potential for another surge in infections. We ask that even if you received the COVID-19 vaccine, please wear a mask, social distance and wash your hands regularly.
