Independent Living Services Reinstated

Dear residents,

Prior to the Thanksgiving holiday, we made the decision to cease visitation to PVN’s campus as well as limit or temporarily suspend certain services. Because of the current spike in COVID-19 cases in the Dallas metroplex, we will continue to limit campus visitation to essential caregivers only.

Also, we recently conducted a voluntary round of COVID-19 testing for independent living residents. The purpose of this testing was to establish a baseline for our community so we could consider the resumption of certain services. We received the final results of the testing, and based on the results    we are happy to announce that we are able to resume the following services on Dec. 14:

  • The Lifestyle Fitness Center will resume activities and accommodate up to six residents in the gym and four residents in the pool at one time.
  • Programming and activities will be scheduled with limits related to coronavirus precautions;
  • Life enrichment outings will resume with limits related to coronavirus precautions;
  • The pre-Thanksgiving transportation schedule will resume; and
  • In-person therapy visits will resume.

All scheduling will continue via Cubigo. Finally, our intention is to resume meal service in the auditorium on Monday, Jan. 4. Meals will continue to be delivered as they have been each day.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to flex operations to create a safer environment for residents and teammates. As a reminder, if you feel ill, or even a little “off”, please contact a healthcare professional immediately. For any questions or concerns, please call 214-355-9019 or email pvninfo@forefrontliving.org.

Sincerely,

Bryan Cooper
Executive Director
