COVID-19 Positive Teammates

Dear Residents, Families and Teammates,

We have learned today that two teammates working in housekeeping have tested positive for COVID-19. The housekeeping teammates were working in the Transitional Rehab Center (TRC), Special Care and Joyce Hall assisted living and their last day of work was on September 27th. As a precaution, in the TRC and Special Care, we have begun testing all residents. Due to the minimum amount of exposure in Joyce Hall, we are monitoring all residents and staff as well as conducting contact tracing and will notify any impacted individuals of potential exposure. Please keep these teammates in your prayers as they begin their recovery.

Unfortunately, because of these positive results, we will not be able to allow plexiglass, outdoor and open window visits for the next 14 days, due to state regulations. However, we can continue with Essential Caregiver visits, closed window visits and end-of-life visits during this waiting period.

As we enter the autumn season, we strongly encourage everyone to abide by all recommended safety protocols including wearing masks, washing hands and remaining socially distant. We believe through this continued vigilance we can best limit our exposure to COVID-19 and other seasonal illnesses, such as the flu.

We are so appreciative of your flexibility, caring and cooperation during this difficult time. Please contact us at pvninfo@forefrontliving.org or 214-355-9019 for additional information.

Sincerely,

Bryan Cooper

Executive Director
