To keep things fresh and provide an array of offerings on campus, Presbyterian Village North (PVN) Culinary Director, Savannah Rogers, has been networking to host a variety of food vendors at PVN. These merchants set up shop in the Alcove to sell an assortment of sweet and savory delights to residents and teammates. Earlier this month, our friends from Chance’s Pie and Coffee Shop, managed and run by participants of Highland Park United Methodist Church’s Belong Disability Ministry, paid a special visit to the PVN campus to serve up smiles and their delicious baked goods. Events like these demonstrate the importance of supporting local businesses and organizations, especially those that contribute positively to the community. Look for more exciting vendors coming soon to the PVN campus!
For those seeking another slice of sweetness, head to Chance’s, located on the first floor of the Tolleson Family Activity Center, to enjoy one of their delicious oven-baked personal or family pies. Chance’s is open Monday – Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. – noon and on Sundays from 7:00 – 9:30 a.m. To keep up with the activities of this amazing group, follow them on Facebook. The Belong Disability Ministry serves anyone in the DFW area who is or has a family member affected by a disability and offers a variety of programming to ministry participants and their family members free of cost.
