Assisted Living Completes Testing and Teammates Quarantine Post date August 4, 2021 Dear residents, families and teammates, Due to rising COVID-19 cases in Dallas County, Presbyterian Village North (PVN) tested all unvaccinated assisted living teammates and residents on the third floor of the Terrace. We are pleased to report that all results were negative for the virus. We attest this good news to the dedication our community exercises in practicing CDC recommended preventative measures such as mask-wearing, social distancing, maintaining proper hand hygiene in addition to the high vaccination rate in this area. The PVN team learned that two teammates tested positive for COVID-19 this week after each returned from their respective vacations. Because they were self-aware and recognized the symptoms early, they alerted their supervisors and received an COVID-19 test prior to reporting back to work, resulting in avoiding any exposure to those on our campus. The teammates are now on quarantine. We appreciate PVN residents and teammates continuing to live a low-risk lifestyle. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 trends to help protect our community.
