Presbyterian Village North (PVN) had the honor of hosting the Texas C.A.R.E.S – Centered Around Resident Empowered Services conference, organized by the Texas Culture Change Coalition (TXCCC), on November 6, 2025.
The Texas Culture Change Coalition is dedicated to transforming long-term care across Texas by affirming the dignity and value of every individual and the caregivers who support them. By focusing on resident empowerment and culture change, the coalition encourages practices that place residents at the center of decision-making and daily life in care communities.
Hosting the conference at PVN highlighted the community’s commitment to these values. Attendees were able to share their experiences bringing together leaders, advocates and care professionals from across the state to exchange ideas and celebrate innovations in resident-centered care.
For PVN, hosting the Texas C.A.R.E.S conference was not only an opportunity to showcase its resident-empowered culture but also a chance to inspire broader change in long-term care throughout Texas.
