Positive Residents and Teammates Post date December 29, 2021 Dear independent living residents, families and teammates, A Martin’s Landing resident tested positive for COVID-19 while receiving medical treatment offsite. They were asymptomatic at the time of testing. This resident will move to the PVN COVID-19 unit when they return. Also, a resident residing in The Oaks and two independent living office teammates tested positive for COVID-19 and are isolating at home. As you are aware, cases are increasing at a rapid rate in the Metroplex. We are fortunate to have an active resident council that I meet with regularly to gain their insight and apprise them of things as they develop. In the meantime, we continue to utilize good infection control and testing as tools to reduce exposure to the virus. If you begin to experience any symptoms, please contact a health professional immediately. As always, remember to wear a mask in public, social distance and wash your hands regularly.
