Positive Residents

Dear residents, families and teammates,

An additional four assisted living residents and one skilled nursing resident tested positive for COVID-19. We are working diligently to stop the unprecedented spread of COVID-19 in Joyce Hall and skilled nursing. There are a limited number of rooms in the COVID unit and as of now we are full. As more rooms become available, we will relocate the remaining residents to the unit. We expect a number of the residents that are currently in the unit to be cleared to return to their homes in the next few days. The PVN team continues to stress the importance of wearing masks and handwashing with both residents and teammates, which remains our best defense against the spread.   

PVN is committed to not only keeping the residents and teammates healthy, but also to providing transparent communication. We take our role in caring for residents and teammates seriously and we thank you for your trust as we navigate this increase in cases. It has been nearly a year since we began this journey and we will work through this situation as we have all others, together. We share your concern and appreciate the great amount of support and encouragement you provide to our teammates and each other.
