UNVEILED: Timeless Beauties – Featuring The Bold Women of PVN!

The big reveal of Presbyterian Village North’s (PVN) “Timeless Beauties” calendar took center stage during a lively Happy Hour on October 9 in the McGowan Auditorium. Residents and special guests gathered for the unveiling event, which featured a special speech and video presentation by the project’s ring leaders, Susan deLarios and Celine Hubler. The cheers from the more than 100 attendees who filled the room made it clear…these ladies have created something truly unforgettable!

Inspired by an idea and the playful spirit of pin-up calendars from the past, a group of fearless PVN residents decided to bare just enough for a cause that matters. Profits from calendar sales will benefit the Forefront Living Foundation, which provides charitable care and comfort for those served at the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center by Faith Presbyterian Hospice.

How did the calendar come to life, you ask? Well…it all started with Susan deLarios, a spirited resident known for her charm and her knack for turning ideas into action. With her trademark grin and a gleam of mischief, Susan convinced her friends (old and new) to join her in creating a fun and tasteful calendar that celebrates confidence and community.

The project was captured on film thanks to a volunteer photographer and the creative eye of resident Celine Hubler, who served as producer and art director as she worked tirelessly to manage the project all the way to print.

Each month highlights a different side of PVN life, from the pool and art studio to the dog park and library…complete with smiles, sparkle and a few cleverly placed props.

Judging by the crowd’s reaction at the unveiling, the “Timeless Beauties” have proven what everyone at PVN already knew: age may change, but boldness and beauty never fade.
