Finding Balance One Step at a Time: Chakra Walk at PVN

It was a beautiful day to slow down step outside and reconnect.

Last week, 13 Presbyterian Village North (PVN) residents joined Rev. Elise Neal, PVN’s Associate Director of Spiritual Life, for a guided outdoor Chakra Walk across campus. This experience centered on movement, reflection and a sense of calm. The walk included seven thoughtfully chosen stops each connected to one of the body’s seven chakras.

At each location, residents paused to take in their surroundings and reflect on simple but powerful affirmations. From being open to wisdom, to speaking with clarity, to feeling grounded in the present moment – each stop offered a chance to reset and refocus.

The response was immediate. Residents left feeling energized, centered and already asking when they could do it again.

This is what it looks like when Spiritual Life and Wellness come together with intention. This type of creative programming continues to bring fresh meaning to well-being at PVN.
