Presbyterian Village North (PVN) recently wrapped up Hispanic Heritage Month with a lively happy hour celebrating the traditions of Hispanic culture. Residents gathered for festive drinks, great company and a vibrant atmosphere that honored the month’s spirit of connection. The event even featured two talented Spanish dancers who brought extra energy and fun to the celebration.
All month long, PVN celebrated Hispanic heritage full tilt. In addition to the weekly Café y Conversaciones, where residents practice conversational Spanish with teammates, there were plenty of ways to join in the fun. On National Guacamole Day, September 16, residents sampled fresh guacamole made right on site. On the last day of the month, a flavorful Taco Tuesday Taquiza will be held to provide everyone the chance to enjoy three tacos on warm corn tortillas with rice and a variety of toppings.
These gatherings were a great way to bring people together, celebrate culture and enjoy good food with friends and neighbors.
