That’s the goal of whole-person wellness here at The Village, and for most residents, it’s a way of life. We help you stay healthy and fit in every dimension. It starts with a lifestyle filled with activity, fitness, healthy eating and social connection. The embrace of our faith-based culture fosters spiritual enrichment for people of all faiths. We also offer an on-site Wellness Clinic with a licensed nurse on staff who can coordinate the services of general practitioners, dermatologists, podiatrists, audiologists or other specialty physicians as needed. A three-month semester of wellness education and analysis. Residents and staff teammates share their passions and expertise by hosting lectures and workshops on fitness, gardening, jewelry, genealogy, spirituality and more.

Jim and Bess Blanchette Lifestyle Fitness Center

Nothing short of amazing — that’s the Lifestyle Fitness Center at Presbyterian Village North. It delivers multi-stage exercise programming featuring HUR circuit machines and exercise equipment designed specifically for active seniors. Employing a SmartCard Virtual Trainer system, our wellness staff can design individual workouts and track your progress over time.

The Center includes a dedicated studio for step aerobics, spin classes, Pilates and more. The studio also serves as an educational area to host weekly lectures and support groups. There’s an Aquatic Fun, Fitness and Rehab Center (in addition to our existing facility) with a pool able to accommodate large-group aqua exercise classes and water fitness programming, as well as lap lanes for swimming and water walking, and a Jacuzzi®. There is a full-service spa offering massages, manicures, pedicures and more, also featuring an outdoor garden perfect for relaxing and socializing. The Center even has on-site medical clinics and offices, providing physician services, podiatry, dental and optometry services.

Finally, our Wi-Fi enabled Café is positioned right outside the Lifestyle Fitness Center. The perfect post-workout gathering place — serving quick, delicious, healthy selections to grab and go, or to relax and unwind with friends. We’re confident in saying that our Lifestyle Fitness Center is the absolute finest senior wellness facility anywhere in North Dallas.
