SEPTEMBER events at pvn

At Presbyterian Village North (PVN), September brought a season of connection and celebration for independent living residents. From outings around town to gatherings on campus, residents enjoyed meaningful ways to spend time together while welcoming the first signs of fall. Here’s a look back at some of the special moments that made the month unforgettable.

Handcrafted Christmas Cheer at PVN

Presbyterian Village North residents are preparing early to spread holiday joy the old-fashioned way—through handcrafted Christmas cards. With paint, paper and a touch of creativity, residents gathered to design one-of-a-kind cards filled with festive spirit. Each card carries a personal touch that reflects the season’s warmth and the joy of giving. The project not only sparked creativity but also gave residents a chance to share laughter, swap ideas and connect with friends while making something meaningful. These special cards will brighten the holidays for loved ones and remind everyone that the best gifts come from the heart.

PVN Marks Hispanic Heritage Month with Fresh Guacamole
Presbyterian Village North added a flavorful touch to Hispanic Heritage Month by celebrating National Guacamole Day on September 16. Residents gathered to watch fresh guacamole prepared right on site, then enjoyed sampling the tasty creation together.

The event was a fun way to honor Hispanic culture while sharing good food and conversation. It set a warm tone for the rest of the month’s festivities and gave everyone a chance to connect over a classic favorite.
