PVN Teammates Honored at Meadows Scholarship Luncheon

Last week, the Forefront Living Foundation (FLF) hosted a special luncheon at Presbyterian Village North (PVN) to celebrate PVN teammates who have received support from the Patricia and Curtis Meadows Scholarship Fund. So far, the fund has provided $61,773 in scholarships to 33 PVN teammates helping them continue their education, earn certifications and grow in their careers.

The event was a warm and meaningful way to thank the Adair Foundation for their generosity. Because of their support, teammates from all areas of the campus have been able to achieve their goals—whether that’s becoming a nurse, stepping into a leadership role or simply learning something new that helps them do their job even better.

For the past three consecutive years, the Adair Foundation has made a generous $25,000 grant to the FLF in honor of Curtis and Patricia Meadows. This donation created the Curtis and Patricia Meadows Scholarship Fund supporting Allied Health and Senior Living Professionals working for PVN as they pursue health education and professional development. A scholarship committee made up of key stakeholders from PVN and the Forefront Living Foundation (FLF) helps oversee how these funds are allocated to best support teammates.

The FLF continues to play an important role in managing both scholarship funds and working with donors to provide teammates with opportunities to learn and grow.

During the luncheon a few teammates shared what the scholarships have meant to them. From pursuing nursing degrees to taking classes in healthcare management, their stories were inspiring and heartfelt.

Thanks to the Adair Foundation and Patricia and Curtis Meadows—and those who honor their legacy through giving—teammates are getting the support they need to grow both personally and professionally. Their impact continues to make a real difference at PVN.
