The spirit of Hanukkah shone brightly at Presbyterian Village North (PVN) on December 30, as 61 residents and teammates gathered to kick off the Festival of Lights with a special dinner and program. The event celebrated the diverse Jewish traditions within the PVN community, focusing on unity and interfaith understanding. With collaborative support from the Community Life, Spiritual Life and Dining Teams, the evening unfolded in an inclusive and festive atmosphere.
The celebration began with a delightful dinner featuring traditional Hanukkah dishes, where attendees shared warmth, companionship and cultural exchange. The program included stories, songs and reflections from residents, culminating in the lighting of the menorah’s first candle. This meaningful moment highlighted the richness of Jewish faith and traditions, creating a space for connection and learning among all who attended.
