Twenty-five residents of Presbyterian Village North (PVN) recently visited the newly opened National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas. Located in the city’s Entertainment District near AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field, the museum offers a powerful tribute to America’s highest military honor.
The striking building features immersive exhibits that highlight extraordinary acts of bravery by ordinary individuals. Residents explored the Ring of Valor, viewed historical artifacts including a Vietnam-era Huey helicopter, and experienced cinematic moments that brought heroic stories to life.
Interactive elements like holographic conversations and virtual-reality displays made the experience especially engaging. Many residents shared how moved they were by the personal stories behind each medal and the sense of sacrifice and service they conveyed.
The visit was both inspiring and emotional, offering residents a deeper appreciation for the courage and commitment of our nation’s heroes.
