The Hawthorne building, Presbyterian Village North’s (PVN) newest expansion, was officially dedicated on Friday, September 9.
The festivities began with an outdoor ribbon-cutting followed by the dedication ceremony, held in PVN’s McGowen Auditorium. A full house of residents and guests listened as PVN Spiritual Director Denise Odom delivered a special blessing over The Hawthorne, followed by remarks by the building’s namesake: Doug Hawthorne. In addition to Mr. Hawthorne, the event included special guests Dallas City Councilmember Adam McGough and Mr. Hawthorne’s family members.
The morning dedication ended on a delightful note, as residents and guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet and mimosa bar, prepared by PVN’s culinary team. To all of our newest PVN family members living at the Hawthorne, welcome home!
