Presbyterian Village North (PVN), in partnership with the Forefront Living Foundation (FLF), is establishing an Adult Day Stay program for aging adults with neurodegenerative disorders to be housed on the PVN campus, located in North Dallas. Fundraising for the program is currently underway, with a lead gift of $300K already secured by the FLF.
Day Stay will offer guided activities like art, gardening and wellness classes, provide health monitoring, assist with personal care and serve nutritious meals in a secure environment, available Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. This structured set up will allow program participants to socially connect, mentally and physically, while their caregivers experience peace of mind through dependable care. The program will provide a flexible daytime care option, with a daily participation fee, for adults who need extra support or for caregivers needing a break without the commitment of full-time residential care.
“The Forefront Living Foundation believes that every stage of life deserves dignity, purpose and connection. The PVN Day Stay program will provide aging adults with neurodegenerative disorders a safe and engaging space. It will be more than just a program. It will serve as a necessary lifeline for families while strengthening our Dallas community,” shared Sarah Jones, FLF Philanthropy Officer.
PVN is a well-established continuing care retirement community (CCRC) offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support and Skilled Nursing. The campus is fully staffed with nurses, therapists and social workers and has exceptional on-site facilities including a clinic with a dedicated doctor, outdoor trails, an art studio and fitness center, making it an ideal location to host the program. Once permitting is complete, construction is anticipated to begin in June of 2026.
