At Presbyterian Village North (PVN), kindness isn’t just a sentiment—it’s an action. This month, PVN Assisted Living (AL) residents came together with one goal in mind: to serve others. With cheerful conversation and plenty of teamwork, they made 300 sandwiches, each one destined to nourish someone in need.
The sandwiches were picked up by Our Calling, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping the homeless. While the task itself was simple, the impact was anything but. Resident Glenna Hoff summed it up beautifully:
“I enjoyed doing this because I wanted to do something for someone else. The other reason is because it is always good to be together with others.”
For many at PVN, service projects like this are a regular part of life. Once a month, AL residents roll up their sleeves and find a way to give back, whether it’s preparing meals, gathering supplies or simply spreading kindness.
