PVN Residents Lend a Helping Hand to Vogel Alcove

Presbyterian Village North (PVN) Assisted Living residents recently came together for a simple but meaningful act of kindness. With help from families and staff they assembled 100 bye-bye bags for Vogel Alcove, a Dallas nonprofit that supports children experiencing homelessness.

The bags were filled with donated snacks and drinks that Vogel Alcove provides to children to take with them at the end of the day. For many children these small comforts make a big difference.

Residents enjoyed the experience and took pride in knowing their time and effort would help children in need. Laughter conversation and teamwork filled the room as each bag was packed with care.

Vogel Alcove has served North Texas children and families for decades offering early childhood education emotional support and basic needs resources. The PVN community was proud to support an organization dedicated to helping children feel safe supported and valued.

Thank you to everyone who donated items and helped make this project possible. The project served as a meaningful reminder that kindness connects generations and strengthens the community.
