Backpacks, Pencils and Purpose: PVN Rallies for Stults Road Students

Just before the start of the 2025 school year, the campus of Presbyterian Village North (PVN) was once again buzzing with generosity and community spirit. For the sixth year in a row, PVN residents and teammates came together to support their longtime neighbors at Stults Road Elementary, a Title One school located just behind the PVN campus.

Over the course of a two-week donation drive, more than 100 PVN residents donated bags and boxes full of school supplies (plus $1,500 in gift cards and cash which is $900 more than last year!) to help local students start the year strong. On Monday, August 11, PVN residents gathered all the donations and loaded them in the car for Lisa Hendrix, Stults Road Elementary PTA President, to deliver to the students.

“We’re always amazed by the generosity of our residents. Year after year, their support ensures that countless students at Stults Road School will have the supplies they need to start the school year strong. This year’s donations will make a real difference in so many young lives.” said Dora Levia, PVN’s Community Life Coordinator.

With the help of PVN residents and teammates students at Stults Road are heading into the new school year ready to learn and reminded that their community is cheering them on.
