They weren’t competing on America’s Best Dance Crew, but two Forefront Living sister communities proved they’ve got all the moves (and then some!) during a toe-tapping dance showdown that brought plenty of yeehaws and a whole lot of joy.
On July 24, the Outlook at Windhaven (OAW) Outlaws, the spirited line dancing crew from Plano, saddled up and made their way to Presbyterian Village North (PVN) in Dallas for a Western-themed Happy Hour. Decked out in denim and boots, these residents took the stage and put on a toe-tapping show.
PVN line dancers welcomed the Outlaws by kicking the festivities off with a short line dancing routine. After PVN danced, the Outlaws performed their well-rehearsed moves and invited others to join them on the dance floor. It didn’t take long for residents from both communities to bop together in a joyful blur of line dancing fun.
There were no judges, no scores and no trophies – just a whole lot of camaraderie and a shared love for music and movement. The Western Happy Hour turned into a spontaneous celebration of friendship, fun and the kind of lighthearted moments that make life at Forefront Living so special.
It may not have been a nationally televised dance-off, but for those who were there, it was a fun, boots-stomping kind of memory. And who knows? With moves like these, they might bring back America’s Best Dance Crew to TV and make room for a few fabulous seniors.
