Meadows Scholarship Fund Impact continues

On Thursday, April 10, the Presbyterian Village North (PVN) Scholarship Committee awarded two more scholarships to exemplary PVN teammates: Rashaad Boyd and Latassa Fletcher. Generously funded through the Adair Foundation, the Patricia and Curtis Meadows Scholarship fund supports teammates wishing to enhance their senior living careers by pursuing further education.

Rashaad Boyd, PVN Catering Supervisor, joined the community in 2024. Through his diligence and hard work, he already earned two promotions. Rashaad is currently pursuing a business degree at Dallas College to help him continue to advance his career in senior living management at PVN.

Latassa Fletcher, a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at PVN for the past seven years, has dreamed of becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) since she was eight years old. Recently, she was accepted into the nursing program at Galen College and this scholarship will help her achieve her dream.

These teammate scholarships are made possible through generous grant funding from the Adair Foundation to the Forefront Living Foundation (FLF). Since 2022, the Adair Foundation has awarded multiple grants to FLF to support the continuing education of PVN teammates. To date, 41 scholarships totaling nearly $60,000 have been awarded to deserving individuals.

Congratulations to these dedicated teammates! A special celebratory luncheon honoring all scholarship recipients to date is scheduled for Thursday, May 22.
