August is National Dog Month and residents of Presbyterian Village North (PVN) have used this occasion as an opportunity to give back to the community. Earlier in the month they collected old t-shirts from residents and teammates across each of Forefront Living’s entities, and gathered today to assemble more than 50 chew toys to be donated to the City of Garland Animal Shelter for their shelter dogs.
“We received hundreds of old t-shirts to use for this project. Our toy makers have their hands full today!” Ava Verdeflor, PVN Life Enrichment Coordinator, said.
