Positive Teammates Post date August 12, 2021 Dear residents, families and teammates, Two assisted living teammates tested positive for COVID-19. Both teammates were fully vaccinated against Coronavirus. The individuals began showing symptoms for the virus and were promptly tested then quarantined according to our COVID-19 policy, which is based upon CDC recommendations. All assisted living residents and teammates will be tested as a precaution. Results from these tests will be communicated once all are received. Because of the status of the two teammates, Texas Health and Human Services regulations require restrictions on visitation. Visitation in the community will temporarily change allowing only essential caregiver and end-of-life visits. Closed window or televisits are allowed for those not designated as essential caregivers. As the Dallas County COVID-19 positivity rate rises to 14.06%, please remember to practice CDC recommended protocols such as wearing a mask, social distancing and washing your hands as frequently as possible If you feel ill, tell a healthcare provider immediately.
