Positive Resident and Teammates

Dear Residents, Families and Teammates,

We appreciate your patience and support as we continue to monitor the coronavirus in Dallas County as well as on Presbyterian Village North’s (PVN) campus. Through our two-step texting process, we learned that a resident and teammate in the Transitional Rehab Center (TRC) and an assisted living teammate have tested positive for COVID-19. The resident has moved to the COVID-19 unit on campus and the teammates are isolating at home. We have disinfected the impacted apartments and common areas as a precautionary measure. Please pray for these individuals’ speedy recovery.

Our entire team is working diligently to minimize the spread of the virus. Our top priority is to continue to care for and give transparent and timely communication to residents, families and teammates. Early detection is imperative to limiting our exposure to the virus. We are so grateful for your flexibility, caring and cooperation during this difficult time.

Please keep in mind everyone has a different spectrum of allergies, but if you feel ill, err on the side of caution and please report your symptoms to a healthcare professional immediately. Coronavirus symptoms can mimic those of a cold, flu or allergies, such as loss of taste or smell, cough, fever, sore throat or shortness of breath. As always, for more information, please contact us at 214-355-9019, pvninfo@forefrontliving.org or follow daily updates at presvillagenorth.org/news/category/covid-19.

Sincerely,

Bryan Cooper
Executive Director
