Assisted Living Zoom Update

April 23, 2020
Dear Assisted Living Residents and Family Members,

We have good news to share. Tests are back for Joyce Hall and The Terraces and they were all negative! While we will continue to test, we felt it was important not to wait to share this information.

We would like to thank all those who joined us on Monday, April 20 for our assisted living Q and A Zoom call. We appreciated the opportunity to hear your concerns and answer all of your questions. Our desire is to provide thorough and transparent communication and we will continue to utilize email, website updates and Zoom for our communication updates.

We shared with you on Tuesday, April 21 the results of the first round of tests. We will receive an additional 300 nasal swab tests for COVID-19. These tests should arrive this evening (Thursday, April 23). This will allow us to test remaining residents, staff and sitters in our skilled nursing and assisted living areas. We are grateful to our staff who continue to build strong relationships with various lab companies across the state. We will communicate the results of the testing as soon as we receive the results.

We’ve included the most frequently asked questions from the Q and A with this letter. In addition, for your convenience, we have posted our updates on the Presbyterian Village North’s website at this link https://presvillagenorth.org/news/category/covid-19/. Should you have questions before our next update that are general in nature, please submit them to pvninfo@forefrontliving.org and we will do our best to include them in the update. Should you need immediate information please contact 214-355-9019.

Sincerely,
Bryan Cooper
Executive Director
